Fellow Voices is a space for students to engage in an active dialogue about writing and speaking–reflectively, insightfully, critically, and accessibly.
A resource created by a group of Writing Fellows and Speaking Fellows at Barnard College, Fellow Voices posts about writing and speaking-related debates, rhetoric, pedagogy, current events, and social change; provides writing and speaking tips and tools direct from the Writing and Speaking Fellows; advertises applicable events and workshops in and outside of Barnard; and invites students, professors, and our extensive alumnae network to contribute to this project. Most importantly, Fellow Voices is a space for all writers, readers, and speakers to challenge ourselves to think more critically about what we say and write, and how we say and write it, taking ownership of the ideas we offer to the world.
Welcome to this community of writers and speakers–you are one of them! Click to get reading about it, or just select a topic from one of the menu tabs at the top of this page.
